We Need Your Voice

Are you an early childhood education teacher who has taught a child with a parent involved in the justice system?

You may be eligible to participate in a one-time interview for a research study at UW–Madison.

What does participation involve?

A one-time interview (approximately 45-60 minutes) at a time convenient for you.

• Interviews can be conducted via Zoom or in person.

The interview will be voice-recorded for accuracy in data collection.

Participants will receive a $10 compensation as a token of appreciation for their time.

• Data will be stored securely according to campus policy.

• Participation is completely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time.

Topics we’ll cover include

• Your experiences with justice-impacted children

• Challenges and support strategies

• School resources you’ve used (or wish you had)

• Your perspective on teacher training and professional development
